What's Up Wednesday >> Sweater Weather + Black & White

My long time obsession has been with all things black and white -- I just love the monochromatic look -- very polished and sleek. Since the weather is getting more and more chilly, I've decided to pull some looks featuring black & white sweaters.

1. Lazy Days
This look is perfect for those lazy days lounging around home or at school, running errands, or just grabbing coffee. Throw on some oversized sunglasses and you're good to go!

2. Casual Work Days
Crazy print sweaters can be chic and appropriate for work by keeping other details and accessories as simple as possible. Jewelry should be simple, understated, and refined. Other accessories like bags, shoes, and scarves should be one color with no prints or patterns (otherwise it may clash with your sweater).

3. Lunch Date
Whether you're grabbing lunch with the girls or just with your lover, this cute outfit is perfect for chit chatting away. The neutral/nude color scheme combined with feminine details add some polished character to this slouchy cream sweater.

4. Color Blocking
Color blocking is very easy to do when you're working with black and white. The simplicity of the white and black trimmed sweater gives all the attention to the bold, red colored pants. Pair this outfit with sass by adding square or cat-eyed frames and pointy black pumps.

5. Office Attire
Office attire doesn't always have to look like menswear inspired suits -- keep it lady-like by adding a structured blazer and classic pumps. The faux-collared sweater adds more of a feminine touch than a collared blouse would.

6. Dinner Date
Keep warm during your dinner dates by layering with tall boots, a chunky black cardigan, and knit scarf. Black and silver look really pretty together during the winter time -- sparkle the night away with a jeweled headband and timeless watch.
