Food Friday >> Serendipity 3

Located right on the strip, in front of the Caesars Palace Resort and Casino, is Serendipity 3. I've heard so many good things about this place and I was super excited to try this place for myself -- especially the praised frozen hot chocolate -- a conundrum I know, but it's absolutely divine.

Frozen Hot Chocolate

Seriously, you must try this baby! It was very decadent and cold, and I'm glad we shared one because I would not have been able to eat anything else if I had this to myself. Quick Tip: my friends signed up for the Total Rewards program at Planet Hollywood, and we got the frozen hot chocolate for free! Also, there is a discount off the bill if you are a Total Rewards member. 

 Ahi Tuna Salad

Fresh ingredients and the tuna was cooked perfectly, but the dressing was quite tangy/salty (so definitely ask for it on the side).

 Mac & Cheese

You can definitely smell the truffle and the cheese. But you can also see a layer of oil floating in the bowl (so pour that out if that grosses you out). Other than that, it was delicious and sinful.

Bacon Cheeseburger

A little difficult to eat since the buns are so big but very well seasoned. Fries were yummy too!

Also, the Don't Drop Your Skirt Steak Frites (not pictured) was very well cooked, tender, and tasty. We ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture!

My only complaint is that we didn't get the discount off the bill for some reason (computer errors) but the waitress was trying really hard to readjust the bill and etc. I think you should definitely mention this to the staff before you order so they can punch in the prices before printing out the receipt. I really enjoyed this place and I'm looking forward to more frozen hot chocolates! (they also sell them in packets but you need a blender!)
